Movie Spotlight: MR-9 Highlights

Why You Should Vote for MR-9 in Mogul’s First-Ever Showcase

The Mogul community is holding its first-ever blockchain-based showcase vote from August 5-19, 2021. We are getting closer to the first day of voting. There’s no better time than now to give a little bit of the spotlight to each film.

On the red carpet, today is MR-9. MR-9 features a spy with a mysterious past who joins forces with an elite group of international agents. He races against the clock to stop a terrorist attack set to happen during the World Peace Summit in Bangladesh.

Here are a few key reasons to vote for MR-9 you don’t want to overlook.

MR-9 Draws Some Uncanny Espionage Comparisons

Are you a fan of the James Bond franchise of movies? What about Chris Hemsworth’s smash hit streaming on Netflix right now, Extraction?

MR-9’s storyline is drawn comparisons to both. Vote this movie through and you’ll be undoubtedly sitting at the edge of your seat.

MR-9 has Movie Franchise Potential

Many great films are adaptations of great stories that already exist in different formats and have their own called following. MR-9 is no exception.

The movie is based on a series of best-selling Bangladeshi books. Those books were adapted in English for a novel published in 1966 called Masud Rana: Dhonghsho Pahar.

With the books providing the backbone of the story, there is ample opportunity for MR-9 to turn into a massively successful movie franchise.

Martial Arts Films Have a History of Doing Well at the Box Office on a Reasonable Budget

Many of the most profitable martial arts films made in Hollywood are made on a budget of less than $10 million, which is nothing compared to the hundred-million-dollar budgets that comic book movies command for example.

Operating on a reasonable budget means all it takes for a martial arts film to succeed is crafting a movie that resonates with a specific and dedicated audience. Historically speaking, martial arts films do really well among men between the ages of 18-34.

MR-9 is optimized for success, especially given that funding from Mogul users like you just might give it an important boost.

MR-9 Will Feature Top-Notch Action Sequences

MR-9 features action sequences developed by Philip Tan, who is also a producer of the movie. Tan has previously developed large-scale action sequences for blockbuster movies like Inception, Pirates of the Caribbean, Transformers, and the John Wick movie franchise.
